It is to difficult for me to write my toughts in English….
Dolce
Het boek is af, en ik kan jullie vertellen, het is een ware bestseller geworden.
Wat een prachtig verhaal hebben wij samen mogen schrijven.
En aan ons de eer om er een nawoord aan toe te mogen voegen.
Totaal onverwacht kwam dit meisje op ons pad, nadat we veel te vroeg afscheid moesten nemen van Jinaki.
Edith en Henk (Paerdecroon Rhodesian Ridgebacks), we kunnen jullie niet genoeg bedanken dat jullie deze Diva aan ons toevertrouwd hebben.

Heerlijk, energiek, vrolijk, blij en sportief meisje.
De allerliefste ridgeback die je je maar kon wensen.
Al bladerend door de foto’s kan ik alleen maar bedenken dat we zoveel moois hebben beleefd in die bijna 13 jaar.
Coursing weekenden, cursussen, shows, canicrossen, dogscooter, mijn detectie topper, vakanties in binnen en buitenland, verhuizing naar ons heerlijke plekje in de Achterhoek, het steeds weer verder uitbreiden van onze roedel.
De moeder van ons eerste nest, wat waren we trots! En sindsdien ben je een eenheid met Mia, die bij ons bleef wonen. Altijd bij elkaar en tot de dag van vandaag ben je Mia haar grote voorbeeld.
We zullen goed voor haar zorgen! Beloofd!
Thank you so much Terrie (owner of the studdog for our first litter), for making our special first litter possible.
Zonder problemen fietste je de eerste 12,5 jaar van je leven door!
En eigenlijk was je er nu nog steeds niet klaar voor. Vanmorgen hebben we nog een heerlijke wandeling gemaakt.
Je koppie wilde nog wel en het grootste gedeelte van je lijf ook.
Maar die stomme tumor 🙁
Toen er 2 dagen geleden wat bloed bij je urine zat wisten we dat we op een keerpunt terecht gekomen waren. We hadden samen afgesproken niet met je te gaan lopen leuren en oneindig te gaan rekken, omdat we het zelf nog niet aankunnen.
Na contact met de dierenarts, werd ons bevestigd dat we niet te lang moest wachten, als we wilde voorkomen dat je pijn zou krijgen.
Anoek (dierenarts) van Dierenkliniek de Watermolen, bedankt dat je de afgelopen tijd zo voor ons klaar stond en altijd in het belang van Dolce dacht.
Wat heb je bijgedragen aan een ontroerend mooi afscheid.
We hebben nog een mooie, zonnige dag samen genoten, heerlijke wandelingen gemaakt en veel gegeten 😉
En nu….., Nu is het leeg, stil en koud in huis.
Onze harten liggen in gruzelementen.
Bijna 13 jaar was je onderdeel van onze roedel, dan ga je niet zomaar even verder.
Je hebt een prachtige leeftijd bereikt, je hebt een geweldig leven gehad, het verdriet gaat uiteindelijk over in mooie herinneringen.
Maar nu even niet….
Nu doet het alleen maar ontzettend veel pijn en voelt het alsof mijn hart uit mijn lijf is getrokken.

After Frits achieved his Dutch Champion title a couple weeks ago, we deceided to try a new country.
So today, Frits, Liv and I drove to Belgium.

Frits got his forst point for the Belgium Championship today.
He also achieved his 5th CACIB. But he is still to young to finish this title.
But with winning this CACIB we now got the 3 country’s we need.

As Liv and I both where not on our best today, we deceided not to stay for the ring of honour later.
It feels better to be at home, where we made a lovely walk with Dolce and Mia.

Happy Birthday dear Mia!!!!
Today it was 10 years ago that our very First Hidaya litter was born, “The Hidaya ABBA’S”.
Dolce & Garri gave us 11 beautiful puppy’s .
And we totally fell in love with miss Orange, “Hidaya Mamma Mia”
This little, energetic girl, who’s head was a copy of her mothers.
Unfortunately due to her SLO future plans changed.
But we are so happy she is feeling great and we can celebrate, she in de double digits
We are a little bit worried about her, for the moment that will come.
You can always find her very close to her mother.
We know it will be a tough time for her soon
Hopefully we have some more years with you dear Mia!
Dear Angie, Kiyo, Randal, Siep, Ridge, Ivy, Angel, & Zara we wish you a wonderful birthday and hopefully more happy and healthy years with your wonderful owners

Last weekend was another showweekend for several Hidaya’s.
Together with Esther I drove to Offenburg in Germany.
And altough we are very sad about Dolce her illness, we had a great weekend!

Unfortunately we received sad news about Dolce.
Dolce got a carcinoom in her uterus.
There is nothing we can do about it, and we have to say goodbye to her soon.
We are very sad about thin news, but we try to enjoy her company as long as she feels good!

We look forward to it for a year, and this week it finally was time, for Crufts!
Frits, Nano and Zoë where qualified for this show and ofcourse we deceided to go.
Crufts is the biggest show in the world and you can only enter a dog when it is qualified.
None of the dogs was placed this time, but participate already was enough!

Lenneke, Erik and the rest of the family had to say goodbye to their beloved Enzo.
We are so sorry for their loss and are really thankfull for their love for our mister Green, the last 8 years.

Today is was Zoë her turn for a donation at the First Veterinary Bloodbank in the Netherlands.
This was her first donation after her litter.
Ofcourse Liv was also with us again to practice. She think everything is very interesting and she keep a close eye on all.
For now she can join the other dogs with their donations and have fun, so she is ready for her first donation when she is old enough, over 6 months.

We are very happy that, after a long search, we have found Mr. Right for Nano!
A beautiful, “moderate” male, with a perfect character!

Liv and Nano have been to the show in Mouscron (Belgium) today.
I had to go to a course, so Liv went with Marije and Nano, because I think she wil go to a dogshow regulair so she get used to the environment.
The girls went home with wonderful results!

Today, Liv and Nim made their show debute at the open show in Winterswijk.
The little girls did amazing, with only 4,5 months old, and both moved around with an waggling tail.
And on top of it, both achieved great results!

Frits and Nano started the year good, with a blooddonation for the Verterinary Bloodbank in the Netherlands.
Liv also was with us and enjoyed all the treats she get, because the plan is that she also will be a blooddonor over a year.

We wish everybody a wonderfull 2025
2024 has been a great year for us.
We had amzing showresults for Frits and Nano.
Frits achieved many junior champion titles and both Frits and Nano got their first adult champion title and working on some more!
We welcomed our wonderful Elvis litter, and with that little Liv joined are pack. We are so happy with this amazing little wonder!
We also made the decission to cancel Ani her last planned litter.
Time and circumstances where not right, and we only breed a litter if we can do the for 1000%
Our pack of 7 is happy and healthy. Dolce and Mia are getting really old now, but still they come with me everymorning for a 2 km walk.
For 2025 we have a lot of nice plans already.
Firts, Nano. Zoë and Liv will travel trough Europe again for several dogshows.
We are really looking forward for Crufts this year, where Nano, Frits and Zoë wille shine on the green carpet!
Zoë and I will see if can pick up an old hobby, long distance walk.
In the mean time we are searching around for Nano her Mr. Right.
At the end of 2025/beginning 2026 we are plannig a litter with Nano.
And we also hope to welcome Frits his first children in 2025.
Amazing plans, for hopefully an amazing year!
